Our story
Founded on a frustration
In 2015, our founders were coming out of large organizations where they spent more time in committees than writing code. Their clients had reached the same conclusion: projects were not dying from a lack of skill, but from the number of people standing between a need and its delivery.
Phaonix Studios is the answer to that. A deliberately small team, senior only, taking full responsibility for what it ships — from the first line of code to the on-call phone at three in the morning.
A successful project is one you no longer need to talk to us about.
11 years on, we still turn down more projects than we take. That is not arrogance: it is the only way to keep the promise we have already made to the clients we have.

What we hold to
Four principles, none negotiable
Straight talk before the contract
We say no to projects we could not run properly, and we talk you out of features you will never use. A lost sale costs less than a disappointed client.
The code is yours
Repositories, infrastructure, documentation, access: everything is in your name from day one. None of our clients is held by anything other than being happy.
Nobody learns at your expense
Eight years of experience minimum to work on a client project. We train our juniors on our own products, not on yours.
We stay accountable
What we build, we run. That forces us to write code we will be supporting ourselves in three years, at two in the morning.
